Ishita Dutta is the younger sister of actress and former Miss India Universe Tanushree Dutta.

She initially wanted to pursue a career in media and studied Mass Communication before entering films.

Her debut film was the Telugu movie Chanakyudu (2012), not a Hindi production.

She gained recognition in Bollywood with Drishyam (2015), where she played Ajay Devgn’s daughter.

Ishita has also acted in Kannada cinema, appearing in Raja Rajendra (2015).

She met her husband, actor Vatsal Sheth, on the sets of the TV show Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar in 2016.

Their wedding in November 2017 was attended by several Bollywood celebrities, including Ajay Devgn and Kajol.

Ishita is known for balancing both films and television, with notable TV roles in Ek Ghar Banaunga and Bepanah Pyaar.

She is fluent in Bengali, Hindi, and English, reflecting her multicultural upbringing.

Despite being in the entertainment industry, Ishita prefers to keep her personal life private and away from constant media attention.
