After completing the school studies from his village Behbalpur in Fatehabad, he moved to Chandigarh for the further studies. Mankirt used to participate in singing competitions in his college’s annual and youth fests. Before entering the Punjabi Music Industry, he used to play Kabaddi and was also an over-weighted wrestler. Mankirt learned singing skills along with Ammy Virk. In 2013, he sang his debut song ‘Darshan Karke’ with DJ Sanj, which could not win the hearts of the audiences. After working on his voice, he released his next song ‘Kaka Ji’ in 2014, which became a worldwide hit and gave him the much-needed popularity. Mankirt is best known for his song ‘Gallan Mithiyan’, which has crossed more than 40 million views on YouTube. He has also sung many popular Punjabi songs like ‘Aggi Teri Maa’, ‘Jugaadi Jatt’, ‘Jatt Da Blood’, ‘Harley 7 Lakh Da’, ‘Charda Siyaal’, ‘Chorey Wali Baah’, ‘Kadar’, ‘Badnam’, ‘Daang’, ‘Khyal’, ‘Kamli’, etc. Mankirt has worked with many leading models like Himanshi Khurana, Sonia Mann, Tanvi Nagi, Parmish Verma, Sim Khurme, JAzZ Mangat, Sabrina Bajwa, Ropi Gill, etc. He is a good friend to Parmish Verma, Ammy Virk, Nishawn Bhullar, and Punjabi lyricist Prince Rakhdi. Mankirt is a fitness freak. He also sings at public marriage functions and parties. He is fond of kids and likes to spend his quality time with them.
