Sandhya Arakere is a rising talent in the Kannada film industry, celebrated for her emotionally resonant performances and deep theatrical roots. Hailing from Arakere in Srirangapatna, Karnataka, Sandhya’s journey into cinema was serendipitous. Initially drawn to theatre after watching the play Baduku Bayalu, she pursued her passion through formal training at Neenasam and later moved to Bengaluru in 2015 to study theatre further. Her transition to film was unplanned, yet her stage experience laid a strong foundation for her screen presence.

Sandhya’s filmography includes critically acclaimed works such as Swathi Mutthina Male Haniye (2023), Toby (2023), and Su From So (2025), where her portrayal of Bhanu earned widespread praise.
