A new twist has emerged in the long-standing saga of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s gaudy international trips. Rhea Chakraborty had already revealed details of a lavish trip to Thailand organized by Sushant but it seems Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan was also on that trip and Rhea didn’t mention it.
Rhea's Original Account
In a previous interview, Rhea Chakraborty described a trip to Thailand with Sushant and his close friends in December 2018. Sushant and his male friends went for an "all-boys trip," Rhea said. Sushant chartered a private jet to go on the trip and spent ₹70 lakh traveling there, she said, as a sign of his magnificence and luxury.
The Passenger List Leak
But now Times Now has obtained a passenger list from that private flight, and it contains a surprising entry. As the leaked document shows, actress Sara Ali Khan was also on board. Interestingly, the name listed was not "Sara Ali Khan" but "Sara Sultan" — an alias that has raised questions about whether the travel was intended to remain discreet.
Former Assistant's Bombshell
Sushant’s former assistant, Sabir Ahmed, spoke to India Today and gave a detailed account of the trip. Sabir said he had accompanied the group that included Sushant Singh Rajput, Sara Ali Khan, Siddharth Gupta, Kushal Zaveri, Abbas, and Sushant’s bodyguard Mushtaq.
Sabir disclosed that the trip had to be cut short because a tsunami warning was imminent. He added: “Only on the first day, all of us went to the beach. But later, Sushant and Sara stayed in the hotel for the rest of the trip, while his friends went out to explore. They stayed in a luxury island hotel in Bangkok."
He added, “It was Sushant’s trip with his PRO team, Sara Ali Khan, and two staff members. It was in December 2018 and we traveled by private jet.”
The Unanswered Question
The competing accounts of events have left fans and investigators scratching their heads. If Sara was indeed on the trip with Sushant’s own staff and staying largely isolated with him at a luxury hotel, why did Rhea Chakraborty never mention her name in her interview and describe it as an “all-boys trip”?
Critics say that the omission could be innocent, because Rhea might not have known all the passengers on the trip before her relationship with Sushant became serious. Some say that the actress was intentionally hidden and point to the use of the alias Sara Sultan as evidence that she was supposed to be kept out of public records.
Neither Sara Ali Khan nor Rhea Chakraborty has made any further comment on the new claims. Still, as new details come to light years after Sushant’s death, the Thailand trip has become yet another chapter in the long history of half-truths and hidden passenger lists in Bollywood’s long-running mythology.
