India reports in excess of 50,000 every day Covid cases for first time this year

India recorded 53,476 new Covid-19 cases in a range of 24 hours, the most noteworthy single-day rise so far this year, taking the cross country Covid count to 1,17,87,534, the Union wellbeing service said on Thursday.
