2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift Unveiled With 10 Big Changes, Pre-Bookings Open Today
Skoda Auto India has unveiled the much-awaited 2026 Slavia facelift, bringing a series of styling, technology, comfort and mechanical upgrades to its popular midsize sedan. The updated Slavia was revealed on August 18, while pre-bookings are now open. Prices are expected to be announced in the first week of October, with deliveries scheduled to begin during the 2026 festive season.
The facelift retains the familiar Slavia silhouette but receives several noticeable exterior changes. The front gets redesigned LED headlamps, a revised grille with integrated segmented LED elements, a sharper bumper and updated fog-lamp treatment. At the rear, the sedan gets refreshed LED tail-lamps, sequential turn indicators and a new trim panel carrying the Skoda lettering. New alloy wheels and additional colour options further differentiate the updated model.
Here are the 10 major changes introduced with the 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift:
1. Updated LED Headlamps: The sedan gets redesigned projector LED headlamps with refreshed lighting elements.
2. New Grille Design: The front grille receives additional detailing and integrated segmented LED elements inspired by Skoda's newer design language.
3. Sequential Rear Indicators: The updated tail-lamps now feature sequential turn indicators for a more premium appearance.
4. Larger Infotainment Screen: The cabin gets a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the earlier 10-inch unit, along with an updated interface and AI-related functions.
5. Bigger Digital Driver Display: The digital instrument cluster has grown from 8 inches to 10.25 inches, providing a more modern cockpit experience.
6. 360-Degree Camera: A new 360-degree camera improves visibility while parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces.
7. Rear Seat Massage Function: One of the standout comfort additions is a rear-seat massaging function, giving the Slavia a more premium appeal.
8. New 8-Speed Automatic: The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine now gets a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, replacing the earlier 6-speed automatic.
9. Front Parking Sensors: The facelift adds front parking sensors to complement the rear sensors and camera system.
10. Updated Cabin and Ambient Lighting: Revised upholstery, updated graphics and dual-colour ambient lighting enhance the interior experience.
The engine lineup continues with the 1.0-litre TSI producing 115 PS and 178 Nm and the 1.5-litre TSI producing 150 PS and 250 Nm. The 1.0 TSI continues with a 6-speed manual, while the 1.5 TSI retains its 7-speed DSG automatic.
Skoda has opened bookings for the facelift, while the official prices will follow later. With its updated design, larger screens, additional comfort features, 360-degree camera and new automatic gearbox, the 2026 Slavia aims to strengthen its position against rivals such as the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Honda City.
