
Mahindra is gearing up to introduce a facelifted version of the XUV700, bringing design enhancements and new features to its popular SUV. The updated model has been spotted testing, revealing notable changes to the front fascia while retaining its powerful engine lineup.
Design & Exterior Updates
The XUV700 facelift will feature a redesigned grille with more slanted vertical slats, giving it a bolder look. The sleek headlamp cluster of the current model is replaced with circular LED units, similar to the Thar Roxx. The C-shaped LED DRLs have been removed, and instead, the new circular headlights will have an LED ring functioning as a DRL2.
Other exterior changes include:
Revised front bumper with a sleeker air dam vent
New alloy wheel design (expected)
Flush door handles retained from the current model
Minor tweaks to the rear tail lamps
Interior & Feature Upgrades
Mahindra is expected to introduce several new features in the facelifted XUV700, making it even more premium. Some anticipated upgrades include:
Triple-screen dashboard setup (similar to XEV 9e)
Front and rear ventilated seats
Digital key access with NFC technology
Self-parking capabilities
Upgraded Harman audio system with Dolby Atmos support
Auto-dimming IRVM
Engine & Performance
The powertrain options are expected to remain unchanged. The facelifted XUV700 will continue to offer:
2.0L Turbo Petrol engine (197 bhp, 380 Nm torque)
2.2L Turbo Diesel engine (up to 182 bhp, 450 Nm torque)
6-speed manual & 6-speed automatic gearbox
Optional all-wheel drive (AWD) for top-spec diesel variant2
Expected Launch & Pricing
Initially expected in 2025, the facelifted XUV700 is now anticipated to launch in 2026. Mahindra may rename the model to XUV7XO, aligning with its current naming strategy.
The Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to be priced between ₹14.49 lakh and ₹25.89 lakh, similar to the current model. However, given the design updates and new features, Mahindra may introduce a slight price hike when it launches in 2026
