Bokshi

Story

Bokshi is an upcoming Indian folk-horror drama directed and produced by Bhargav Saikia. The story follows Anahita, a teenager traumatised by the mysterious disappearance of her mother. She finds comfort in her history teacher Shalini, but an unconventional school trip to a mysterious prehistoric site forces her to confront a terrifying destiny connected to ancient mythology. The multilingual film blends horror, mystery, folklore and psychological drama, with Hindi, English, Nepali and the fictional Boksirit language featured in the film.
