Story

Gunmaaster G9 is an upcoming Hindi action thriller directed by Aditya Datt and headlined by Emraan Hashmi, Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana. The film brings together Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Datt and music composer Himesh Reshammiya again, nearly two decades after their earlier collaboration on Aashiq Banaya Aapne. Emraan Hashmi plays Eshwar, also known as Agent G9, while Genelia Deshmukh portrays Aarti and Aparshakti Khurana plays the antagonist Desu.

The movie is being positioned as a high-energy action drama with romance, suspense and a strong musical component. Reports indicate that an extended car-chase sequence was filmed across Mumbai, while portions of the production were also shot in Uttarakhand, including Haridwar and Mussoorie. The film's story and several character details are being kept under wraps, although the makers have described it as more than a conventional action entertainer. The reunion of Hashmi, Datt and Reshammiya has generated interest because of their previous successful musical collaboration. Gunmaaster G9 is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
