Story

Directed by R. S. Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy-drama produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. The film is based on Champions by David Marqués and Javier Fesser. It tells the story of Gulshan, a disgraced basketball coach who, after a DUI, is sentenced to community service and must train a team of neurodivergent adults. Initially prejudiced, he gradually learns valuable life lessons from his players as they aim for the national championships. The film stars Aamir Khan, Genelia D’Souza, and Ashish Pendse, with music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy (songs) and Ram Sampath (score).
