Actor Yash, who plays the role of Raavana in the highly anticipated film Ramayana, has unintentionally dropped a major spoiler about the on-screen dynamics of the first installment. Speaking about his character and his interactions with Ranbir Kapoor, who portrays Rama, Yash revealed that the two will not share screen space in Part One.
“Interestingly, we both have never come on the screen in this film. As you all know, it’s a two-part film. So in the first part, we have, as Raavana, I have my own kingdom. And Rama has his own kingdom,” Yash explained. This statement confirms that the much-awaited clash between Rama and Raavana will not take place until the second part of the epic saga.
The revelation has sparked excitement and curiosity among fans, who had been speculating about how the filmmakers would structure the narrative. By keeping Rama and Raavana apart in the first installment, the makers appear to be building anticipation for their eventual confrontation in the sequel.
Yash also took the opportunity to praise Ranbir Kapoor, calling him a “fabulous actor” and highlighting the mutual respect between them. “We’ve met a couple of times, and he’s such a fabulous actor. I think it’s the mutual respect which has played out,” he added.
This spoiler has added a new layer of intrigue to Ramayana Part One, which is already one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema. Fans now know that the first part will focus on establishing the kingdoms and characters, while the grand battle between Rama and Raavana will be reserved for the second chapter, ensuring a dramatic buildup to the epic showdown.
