Veteran Malayalam actor Vishnu Prasad has passed away following a prolonged battle with a severe liver-related illness. The actor had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Ernakulam, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his condition.
Vishnu Prasad was well-known for his contributions to Malayalam cinema and television. He made his film debut in Kaasi and went on to deliver notable performances in Kai Ethum Doorath, Runway, Mampazhakkalam, Lion, and Ben Johnson. His work in television serials also earned him a strong fan following, making him a familiar presence in households across Kerala.
In his final days, his family was preparing for a liver transplant, with his daughter willing to donate part of her liver to save him. However, financial challenges complicated the process, adding to the difficulties they faced.
His passing has left a deep void in the entertainment industry, with colleagues and admirers mourning the loss of his talent and presence. Vishnu Prasad is survived by his two daughters, Abhirami and Ananika, who had been his greatest support during his battle with illness.
