"Premaloka 2" is an upcoming sequel to the iconic Kannada movie "Premaloka," which was a significant hit in the 1980s. The original film was directed by V. Ravichandran and starred Ravichandran and Juhi Chawla, setting new trends in the Sandalwood film industry. The sequel, "Premaloka 2," will feature Ravichandran's sons, Manoranjan and Vikram, with Manoranjan in the lead role and Vikram in a special cameo.
Ravichandran will also appear in the film, playing a father's role. The shooting of "Premaloka 2" is set to begin on May 30, 2024.
The film is expected to have around 25 songs, aiming to reach audiences of all age groups and add a new dimension to the concept of love in cinema. Ravichandran, known as the dream merchant of Kannada cinema, hopes to redefine romanticism in Sandalwood once again with this much-anticipated sequel.
Apart from "Premaloka 2," Ravichandran is also working on other projects, including a courtroom drama titled "KD and The Judgement" and a new project called "Parvasha," directed by Sudheendhra Nadiger and starring Raghu Bhat and Sonal Monteiro.
