Story

Elumale (transl. Seven Mountains) is a 2025 Kannada romantic thriller directed and written by debutant Punit Rangaswamy. The film tells the gripping story of Harish, a cab driver from Mysuru, who risks everything to reunite with his lover Revathi, a young woman from Salem, Tamil Nadu. Their journey takes a dark turn when they become entangled in a crime scene near the Tamil Nadu–Karnataka border.

Set against the backdrop of 2004, the film blends romance with suspense, exploring how love can endure even in the face of danger and conspiracy. Harish’s determination to reach Revathi drives the narrative, while unexpected twists keep the audience engaged. The film’s strength lies in its emotional core, portraying the vulnerability of young love tested by external forces. With atmospheric cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurthy, sharp editing by K.M. Produced by Tharun Sudhir and Atlanta Nagendra under Tharun Sudhir Kreatiiivez and De Arte Studios, the film features strong performances from Raanna and Priyanka Achar, supported by seasoned actors like Jagapathi Babu, Kishore, and T.S.
