Story

Rakshasa is a gripping horror thriller that intertwines myth, suspense, and psychological drama. The story follows Satya, a suspended police officer tasked with guarding three criminals in an abandoned railway station outpost near Ongole. Beneath the station lies a wooden trunk containing a Brahmarakshasa, a demon sealed centuries ago by Saint Ramanujacharya. During a rare eclipse known as the “dark hour,” Satya accidentally unleashes the demon, triggering a terrifying time loop where the same hour repeats endlessly. Each cycle intensifies the demon’s wrath, forcing Satya and the criminals to confront both supernatural terror and their own inner demons. As Satya learns fragments of the Brahmarakshasa’s history, he must use his wits and courage to break the curse and seal the demon once more.
