Bangalore Karga Festival 2024: Schedule , Timmings & Festive Details

The vibrant Bengaluru Karaga festival, one of the city’s oldest traditions, is set to be held from April 15th to 25th, 2024. This nine-day celebration is steeped in history and cultural significance. The festivities occur at the Dharmarayaswamy Temple in Thigalarapet, where devotees come together to honor the goddess Draupadi. The festival features elaborate processions, music, dance, and rituals that showcase the rich heritage of Bengaluru. As the city comes alive with enthusiasm, locals and visitors participate in the festivities, making it a memorable experience for all.

The main festival is celebrated on the 24th of April, 2024. Here are the Details of the Karga festival which will be held from 15th April to 25th April 2024. 

 

• Rathotsava flag hoisting at 10 pm
• April 16 to 19 Special Puja and Mangalarati every day
• Hasi Karaga plan for April 21
• Karaga Shaktyotsava and Dharmaraya Rathotsava on 23rd April
• Gau Puja in the temple on 24th April
• On the 25th, the last day of Vasantotsava flag hoisting
