In celebration of its 75th anniversary, the State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public sector bank, has launched the SBI Platinum Jubilee ASHA Scholarship 2025, offering financial support of up to ₹20 lakh to students from school to postgraduate level. The initiative, spearheaded by the SBI Foundation, aims to empower 23,230 meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
Scholarship Highlights
• Scholarship Amount: ₹15,000 to ₹20,00,000

• Eligible Levels: Class 9 to postgraduate, including IITs, IIMs, medical colleges, and international institutions

Eligibility Criteria
• Academic Performance: Minimum 75% marks or 7.0 CGPA in the previous academic year
• Family Income:
• Up to ₹3 lakh/year for school-level applicants
• Up to ₹6 lakh/year for college and higher education applicants
• Reservation:
• 50% of scholarships reserved for female candidates
• 50% reserved for SC/ST candidates (25% SC, 25% ST)
• SC/ST applicants receive a 10% relaxation in academic criteria
