Reason for Outage
The TNEB has announced that the outages are part of routine maintenance and infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving long-term supply reliability. The board has issued prior advisories to minimize inconvenience and urged residents to plan accordingly.
Area-Wise Impact
- Chennai: Areas like Sembium, Uma Nagar, Muthamizh Nagar Blocks 1–8, and SPOA Teachers Colony will be affected.
- Coimbatore: Karayampalayam, Chinniyampalayam, Mylampatti, and KNG Pudur among others.
- Erode: Sipcot, Perundurai, Bhavani Road, and surrounding industrial zones.
- Krishnagiri: Bargur Sipcot, Oppadhavadi, and Varattanapalli.
- Palladam: South Avinashipalayam, Velampalayam, and Thottipalayam.
