Aadi Mimansa (English: A Rare Solution) is a bilingual Odia-Hindi film directed by Apurba Kishore Bir, marking his directorial debut. The film stars Ashok Kumar, Mohan Gokhale, Neena Gupta, Gloria Mahanty, Bijainee Misra, Nargis, and Lalatendu Rath. It explores themes of national integration, cultural identity, and human values. The film is remembered for its artistic cinematography and socially conscious narrative. It won the 1991 Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration and also received the National Award for Best Cinematography.
