Story

Samaya is a drama-musical directed and produced by Ganesh Mahapatra. The film stars Shriram Panda, Prashanta Nanda, Tripura Misra, Dhir Biswal, and George Tiadi. Music was composed by Hariprasad Chaurasia and Bhubaneswar Mishra. It is notable as the first Odia film to include partially color sequences. The story follows a newly-wed couple whose life is disrupted when the husband suffers from amnesia. The wife receives sympathy from a doctor friend, but their relationship is misunderstood, leading to social ridicule and further complications.
