Story

Chalo (2018) is a romantic comedy set in a small town divided by caste rivalry. Hari, a carefree college student, is sent by his father to Tirupuram, a village split between Tamil and Telugu communities. Amidst the constant clashes, Hari falls in love with Karthika, a girl from the opposite side. Their romance faces resistance due to the ongoing feud, but Hari’s wit and determination bring humor and charm to the conflict. Eventually, love triumphs over division, and the film delivers a lighthearted message about unity, blending youthful romance with quirky village politics—all wrapped in fun and laughter.
