Story

Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL: Dead or Alive is the upcoming sequel to the Telugu zombie-comedy thriller Zombie Reddy. Teja Sajja returns to headline the franchise, while the sequel expands the cast with Kannada superstar Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor, who makes her Telugu debut. The film was officially announced on August 23, 2026, with a title teaser released by People Media Factory on Teja Sajja's birthday.

The sequel is being developed on a significantly bigger scale, promising a more ambitious zombie experience with action, comedy, horror and visual effects. Prasanth Varma, who directed the original Zombie Reddy, returns as the creator and writer, while Suparn S Varma is directing the sequel. The story is expected to take the zombie outbreak into Hyderabad, with the teaser featuring the city's iconic Charminar. The makers have described the new chapter as “Bigger, Badder & Bloodier.” The film is being produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. The sequel is planned for a 2027 theatrical release and is expected to be released in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Nepali and Japanese.
