“Article 370” Box Office Collection: A Remarkable Journey to 100 Crores

Yami Gautam’s latest film, “Article 370,” has taken the box office by storm. With a worldwide gross collection of over 100 crores, it has become her fifth film to achieve this coveted milestone.

The movie, directed by a talented team, resonated with both audiences and critics alike. Despite being made on a moderate budget, it managed to captivate viewers and maintain steady footfall in theaters throughout its third weekend.

In terms of global earnings, “Article 370” crossed the 100-crore mark, marking a significant achievement for Yami Gautam as her first female-led film to achieve this feat. Previously, she had notable successes with films like “Kaabil” (144.22 crores), “URI” (342.06 crores), “Bala” (172 crores), and “OMG 2” (150 crores).

However, the domestic box office tells a slightly different story. As per early estimates, the film grossed 65 lakhs on its 22nd day, bringing the total domestic collection to 69.70 crores. While reaching the 100-crore milestone domestically seems challenging, “Article 370” continues to hold its ground against other releases.

In contrast, Sidharth Malhotra’s action-packed film “Yodha” faced a lukewarm start, earning less than 5 crores on its opening day. The fate of both movies now hinges on the weekend business.

In summary, “Article 370” has not only garnered rave reviews but also made a significant impact at the box office. Its journey to 100 crores is a testament to its compelling storytelling and Yami Gautam’s stellar performance.
