Aindrita Ray

Aindrita Ray, born on 4 April 1985 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is an acclaimed Indian actress and model who primarily works in Kannada cinema, with appearances in Bengali and Hindi films as well. She completed her schooling at Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore and pursued a degree in Dental Science from Mathrusri Ramabai Ambedkar Dental College. Her entry into the entertainment industry began with modeling and television commercials during her academic years. She made her film debut with Meravanige (2008), but her breakthrough came with Manasaare (2009), earning her a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Actress – Kannada.

Over the years, Aindrita has starred in successful films such as Veera Parampare (2010), Bhajarangi (2013), and Paramathma (2011), which established her as one of the leading actresses in Kannada cinema. She has received multiple nominations for Filmfare Awards South and won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada for her role in Bhajarangi. In 2018, she married fellow Kannada actor Diganth Manchale, and together they are considered one of the most admired couples in the industry.
