Akhil Akkineni, born on 1994-04-08 in San Jose, California, is an Indian actor who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He made his debut as a child artist in Sisindri (1995), for which he won a Filmfare Special Award. His cameo in Manam (2014), alongside three generations of the Akkineni family, was widely appreciated. He later debuted as a lead actor in Akhil (2015), earning the Filmfare Best Male Debut Award.
He went on to star in films such as Hello (2017), Mr. Majnu (2019), and achieved commercial success with Most Eligible Bachelor (2021). Apart from acting, Akhil has also played cricket in the Celebrity Cricket League, captaining the Telugu Warriors to victory in 2016. As the son of superstar Nagarjuna and actress Amala, and grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao, he continues the family legacy in Telugu cinema.
