Akshara Haasan is an Indian actress and assistant director who works in Hindi and Tamil cinema. She is the younger daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan and actress Sarika Thakur, and the sister of actress Shruti Haasan. Akshara made her Bollywood debut with Shamitabh (2015), starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush, where her performance was appreciated for its freshness and confidence.
She later appeared in films like Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana (2017) and made her Tamil debut with Vivegam (2017), opposite Ajith Kumar.
