Amritha Aiyer grew up in Chennai and pursued her education at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore, where she completed her degree in commerce. She began her career with small roles before landing her first lead role in Padaiveeran (2018), where she played the character Malar. Her performance was well received, and she quickly gained recognition in the Tamil film industry.
She later appeared in high-profile films such as Bigil (2019), directed by Atlee, where she played one of the football players coached by Vijay. Expanding her career into Telugu cinema, she starred in Red (2021) and achieved widespread fame with Hanu-Man (2024), which grossed over ₹350 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of that year. Amritha also made her Bollywood debut with Jawan (2023), further diversifying her filmography.
