Biography

Anupama Gowda, born Anupama Anandkumar Gowda, is a well-known Indian actress who primarily works in Kannada-language films and television. She began her career as a child artist in the film Lankesh Patrike (2003) and later gained recognition through television shows like Halli Duniya and Akka. Her breakthrough performance came with Aa Karaala Ratri (2018), which earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress in Kannada. She also won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for Thrayambakam (2019). Apart from acting, she has hosted shows like Kannada Kogile and participated in Big Boss Kannada Season 5, which brought her into the limelight.

Raised in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Anupama pursued her education at Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Science, Arts and Commerce, and later studied fashion design at the Indian Institute of Fashion Technology. Known for her versatile acting and charming screen presence, she has become a prominent figure in Kannada entertainment.
