Biography

Arjun Janya, originally named Lokesh Kumar, began his career in 2006 with the film Autograph Please. His rise to prominence came with Birugaali (2009), followed by breakthrough successes in Sanchari (2010) and Kempegowda (2011). Known for blending traditional melodies with modern arrangements, he quickly became a household name in Karnataka. His compositions for films like Varadanayaka (2012), Victory (2013), Vajrakaya (2015), Mukunda Murari (2016), and The Villain (2018) solidified his reputation as a versatile and innovative composer.

Beyond composing, Arjun Janya has also worked as a playback singer and director. His ability to create soulful melodies and energetic tracks has earned him multiple awards and recognition across South Indian cinema. With over two decades in the industry, he continues to be a driving force in Kannada film music, collaborating with leading directors and actors while mentoring upcoming talents.
