Atul Agnihotri started his career as a child artist in Pasand Apni Apni (1983) and made his debut as a lead actor in Sir (1993), which remains his most notable performance. He went on to act in films like Aatish: Feel the Fire (1994) and Krantiveer (1994). Although he appeared in several films through the 1990s, his acting career did not reach the heights of his contemporaries.
He transitioned into direction with Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa (2004) and Hello (2008). Later, he became a successful producer, backing films like Bodyguard (2011) and Bharat (2019), both starring his brother-in-law Salman Khan. Married to Alvira Khan Agnihotri (Salman Khan’s sister) since 1996, Atul is part of the influential Khan family in Bollywood. His daughter, Alizeh Agnihotri, made her acting debut in 2023.
