Baba Bhaskar began his career as a background dancer at the age of nine, training under dance master Paulraj and later apprenticing with Raju Sundaram. His early work as an assistant to veteran choreographers gave him a strong foundation, and he eventually became a lead choreographer with films like Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008). His choreography in blockbuster films such as Magadheera, Maari, Velaiilla Pattadhari, and Petta earned him recognition for blending folk and contemporary dance styles.
Beyond choreography, Baba Bhaskar ventured into acting and directing. His directorial debut came with Kuppathu Raja (2019), and he has acted in films like Jagame Thandhiram (2021), Bagheera (2023), and Jana Nayagan (2026). He also gained popularity as a contestant in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 3 (2019), finishing as second runner-up. His warm personality and versatility have made him a beloved figure in both cinema and television.
