Boney Kapoor began his career in the film industry in the late 1970s, working with established producers before launching his own banner. His breakthrough came with Mr. India (1987), starring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi, which became a cult classic. Over the decades, he produced several successful films across genres, including Hum Paanch, No Entry, and Wanted, establishing himself as one of Bollywood’s most influential producers.
Beyond production, Boney Kapoor has occasionally appeared on screen and is known for his strong family ties within the film industry. He is the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, and was married to legendary actress Sridevi until her passing in 2018. Today, he continues to produce films and remains a respected figure in Indian cinema.
