Dakota Johnson is an American actress and model, best known for her role as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades film series (2015–2018). Born on 1989-10-04 in Austin, Texas, she comes from a family of actors, being the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, and granddaughter of Tippi Hedren.
Dakota Mayi Johnson began her acting career at the age of ten with a role in Crazy in Alabama (1999), directed by her then-stepfather Antonio Banderas and starring her mother Melanie Griffith.
