Delnaaz Irani, whose real name is Delnaaz Irani, began her career in the early 1990s with Baba Sehgal’s music video Ga Ga Ga Gori Gori. She made her television debut in Commander (1992) and rose to fame with her role as Kavita Vinod Verma in the sitcom Yes Boss (1999). Her comic timing and charming personality made her a household name. She later appeared in Bollywood films, most notably as Jaspreet “Sweetu” Kapoor in Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), which remains one of her most recognized roles.
Over the years, Delnaaz has balanced her career between films, television, and reality shows. She participated in Nach Baliye 1 with her then-husband Rajeev Paul and was a contestant in Bigg Boss 6.
