Devoleena Bhattacharjee was born in Assam and developed an interest in performing arts at a young age. She trained extensively in Bharatanatyam and performed at national-level competitions before entering the entertainment industry. After completing her education, she moved to Mumbai to pursue acting and made her television debut with Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto (2011).
Her breakthrough came with Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (2012), where she played the iconic role of Gopi Modi (Gopi Bahu). The show’s immense popularity made her a household name across India. Devoleena later participated in Bigg Boss 13 and Bigg Boss 14, further expanding her fan base. Known for her strong personality and versatility, she continues to balance acting with dance and social media presence, making her one of the most admired TV actresses today.
