Dilsha Prasannan is a popular Malayalam television actress and trained dancer who rose to fame through reality television. Born on July 25, 1991, in Kozhikode, Kerala, she developed an interest in dance from an early age. She completed her schooling at Government Mappila Vocational Higher Secondary School in Koyilandy and later pursued an air-hostess course at the Frankfinn Institute.
Dilsha began her television journey as a contestant on D4 Dance in 2014. She finished fifth in the first season and later returned for D4 Dance Reloaded, where she won the title alongside Rinosh Surendran. Her dancing skills and energetic performances helped her gain recognition among Malayalam television audiences.
In 2016, she made her acting debut with the Malayalam television serial Kana Kanmani, playing Manasa. Her performance earned her Best Debut Female and Best Face honours at the Asianet Television Awards. She later participated in the adventure reality show Dare the Fear, reaching the finals.
Her biggest career breakthrough came in 2022 when she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4. Hosted by Mohanlal, the season ended with Dilsha lifting the trophy on July 3, 2022. She became the first woman to win the Malayalam version of Bigg Boss and received a ₹50 lakh cash prize.
Dilsha subsequently expanded into films, making her Malayalam film debut with Ohh Cinderella in 2023. She has continued working across television, cinema, dance and digital entertainment.
