Biography

Divya Dutta began her acting career in 1994 with Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna and quickly gained recognition for her strong screen presence. Her breakthrough came with Shaheed-e-Mohabbat Boota Singh (1999), a Punjabi film set against the backdrop of Partition, where she played Zainab. Over the years, she became known for her supporting roles in major Bollywood films such as Veer-Zaara, Delhi-6, Heroine, and Badlapur.

Raised in Ludhiana by her mother Dr. Nalini Dutta after losing her father at a young age, Divya pursued education at Sacred Heart Convent. Her resilience and talent helped her carve a niche in Indian cinema, eventually earning her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Irada (2017). She has also authored books and appeared in OTT projects, further expanding her creative footprint.
