Tottempudi Gopichand, popularly known as Gopichand, is a leading Telugu actor recognized for his action-packed roles and charismatic screen presence. Born on 1979-06-12 in Andhra Pradesh, he has built a career spanning over two decades in Tollywood.

Tottempudi Gopichand was born on 1979-06-12 in Kakuturivaripalem, Andhra Pradesh, to filmmaker T. Krishna, who was known for socially impactful films like Neti Bharatam. Gopichand lost his father at a young age, which deeply influenced his life. He completed his schooling at Ramakrishna Mission School in Chennai and later pursued Mechanical Engineering in Russia. Initially, he had no plans to enter cinema, but his father’s legacy and his own passion for storytelling drew him into acting.

He made his debut as a lead in Tholi Valapu (2001), but gained recognition playing antagonists in Jayam (2002), Nijam (2003), and Varsham (2004). His breakthrough as a hero came with Yagnam (2004). Over the years, he earned the nicknames “Action Star” and “Macho Star” for his powerful performances in films like Lakshyam, Souryam, Golimaar, Sahasam, Loukyam, and Seetimaarr.
