Harshita Shekhar Gaur was born on 12 October 1990 in New Delhi, India, into a family of doctors. She pursued her education in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amity University, Noida, where she was active in drama and creative societies. While still studying, she was offered the lead role in Sadda Haq, which marked her television debut and made her a youth icon.
After her success on television, Harshita transitioned into digital platforms, gaining widespread recognition for her role as Dimpy Pandit in Mirzapur. She has also appeared in web series like Sacred Games 2 and Puncch Beat. Alongside acting, she is a trained Kathak dancer, having performed in stage shows across India.
