Himaja Mallireddy hails from Veerlapalem in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. She began her career as a model and TV host before venturing into acting. Her first appearance was in the Sai Baba-themed telefilm Sarvaantaryaami, produced by her father and aired on MAA TV. She later gained popularity with her debut serial Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam, which opened doors to Telugu cinema.
