Jannat Zubair Rahmani grew up in Mumbai in a supportive family that encouraged her artistic talents. Her father, Zubair Ahmad Rahmani, is also an actor, and her mother, Nazneen Rahmani, is a homemaker. She completed her schooling at Oxford Public School, Kandivali, Mumbai, and later pursued higher education at S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, balancing academics with her entertainment career.
She began acting as a child artist in 2009 with Phulwa on Colors TV, where her performance was widely appreciated. She later appeared in shows like Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, Matti Ki Banno, and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Her breakthrough came with Tu Aashiqui (2017), where she played Pankti Sharma opposite Ritvik Arora. The show made her a household name among Indian television audiences.
