Biography

Jitendra Joshi began his career in Marathi theatre and television, quickly establishing himself as a versatile performer. He became a household name with his comic role in Gojiri and later gained fame as the host of Gajab Deshkar. His film career took off with Duniyadari (2013), Natsamrat (2016), and Ventilator (2016), where he showcased his ability to balance humor, drama, and emotional depth.

His breakthrough on the national stage came with Sacred Games (2018), where his portrayal of constable Katekar won widespread acclaim. Joshi has also written lyrics for popular Marathi songs, including “Kombdi Palali,” which was later adapted into the Bollywood hit “Chikni Chameli.” With a career spanning theatre, films, and digital platforms, he remains one of the most respected figures in Marathi entertainment.
