He began his acting career with the Kannada film Sixer in 2007 and gradually became recognized for his comic timing and supporting roles in films such as Mylari (2010), Godfather (2012), Brindavana (2013), and Auto Raja (2013). His nickname “Kuri” originated from the popular Udaya TV comedy show Kurigalu Saar Kurigalu, which helped him gain visibility as a television personality.
