Lakshmi Menon

Lakshmi Menon, born on May 19, 1996, in Kochi, Kerala, is an acclaimed Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil cinema. She is the daughter of Ramakrishnan, a Dubai-based artist, and Usha Menon, a dance teacher. Lakshmi began her acting career with a supporting role in the Malayalam film Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya (2011) before making her Tamil debut as the female lead in Sundarapandian (2012). Her performance in the film earned her widespread recognition and several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut (South). She quickly rose to prominence with notable roles in films like Kumki, Miruthan, and Vedalam, establishing herself as one of the most promising young talents in Tamil cinema. 

After a brief hiatus from films between 2016 and 2020, Lakshmi Menon made a strong comeback and continues to balance her career as an actress, choreographer, and playback singer.
