Biography

Meenakshi Chaudhary grew up in Panchkula in a Punjabi family. Her father, the late Colonel B.R. Chaudhary, served in the Indian Army, instilling discipline and resilience in her upbringing. She completed her schooling at St. Soldier International Convent School, Chandigarh, and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from National Dental College, Dera Bassi, Punjab. Alongside academics, she excelled as a state-level swimmer and badminton player.

Her journey to fame began with pageantry. In 2017, she was crowned Miss IMA at the Indian Military Academy Autumn Ball Night. In 2018, she won Femina Miss Haryana and was crowned Femina Miss India Grand International 2018 (1st runner-up). She represented India at Miss Grand International 2018 in Myanmar, finishing as the first runner-up, the highest placement ever achieved by an Indian contestant at the pageant.

Meenakshi made her acting debut with the Hindi film Upstarts (2019) and later entered Telugu cinema with Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu (2021). She gained recognition with Khiladi (2022) and HIT: The Second Case (2022), where her performance as Aarya was widely praised. In 2024, she starred in Lucky Baskhar opposite Dulquer Salmaan and The Greatest of All Time alongside Thalapathy Vijay, cementing her position as a rising star in South Indian cinema. She continues to expand her career with projects like Sankranthiki Vasthunam (2025) and Anaganaga Oka Raju (2026).
