Biography

Miya George was born into a Syro-Malabar Catholic family in Dombivli, Mumbai, before moving to Pala, Kottayam, Kerala, at the age of four. Her father George Joseph worked as an engineer, and her mother Mini George was a homemaker. She completed her schooling at Sacred Heart Girls’ High School and St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Bharananganam, before pursuing a degree at Alphonsa College, Pala.

Her acting career began with small roles in films like Oru Small Family (2010), Doctor Love (2011), and Ee Adutha Kaalathu (2012). She gained recognition after being crowned Kerala Miss Fitness in 2012, which led to her first lead role in Chettayees. Since then, Miya has starred in successful films such as Memories (2013), Anarkali (2015), and Driving Licence (2019). She is admired for her expressive acting and versatility across genres.
