Nani’s real name is Ghanta Naveen Babu, but he became popularly known as “Nani” after entering films.

Before becoming an actor, he worked as a clap director on the sets of director Bapu’s film Radha Gopalam.

He was deeply inspired by filmmaker Mani Ratnam, which motivated him to pursue a career in cinema.

Nani initially worked as a radio jockey in Visakhapatnam, where his witty style made him popular.

His debut film Ashta Chamma (2008) was a surprise hit, instantly making him a household name.

He earned the title “Natural Star” because of his effortless acting style and relatable performances.

Nani is also a producer; his banner Wall Poster Cinema produced D for Dopidi (2013).

He is known for being humble and grounded, often avoiding the typical star lifestyle despite his fame.

Nani has won multiple awards, including two Nandi Awards, three Filmfare Awards South, and four SIIMA Awards.

He is married to Anjana Yelavarthy since 2012, and they have one child.
