Nimrat Kaur

Nimrat Kaur, born on 13 March 1982 in Pilani, Rajasthan, is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her powerful performances in both Bollywood and international projects. She began her career as a print model and theatre artist before transitioning to films. Her breakthrough came with The Lunchbox (2013), where she played Ila, a lonely housewife whose accidental lunchbox delivery sparks an unusual friendship. The film received global acclaim, establishing her as a versatile performer. She later starred in Airlift (2016) alongside Akshay Kumar, portraying a strong-willed character in the war thriller, further cementing her reputation in mainstream cinema.
