Palomi Ghosh was born in Vadodara, Gujarat, and spent part of her childhood in the United States. With a strong academic background in applied mathematics from North Carolina State University, she initially pursued a career in business analytics research and development. However, her passion for the arts led her to Mumbai, where she trained in acting at Anupam Kher’s institute and immersed herself in theatre.
Her film debut came with The Waiting City (2009), followed by Gandhi of the Month (2014). Her breakthrough role was Dona Pereira in Nachom-ia Kumpasar (2014), which earned her national recognition. Since then, she has appeared in films like Mukti Bhawan (2016), Kadakh (2019), and series such as Netflix’s Typewriter and Sense8. She continues to balance cinema and music, carving a niche as a multi-talented performer.
