Biography

Pedro Pascal’s family moved to the United States when he was a child, settling in Texas and later California. He studied acting at the Orange County School of the Arts and later at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His early career included guest roles in television series such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Law & Order, and The Good Wife. His breakthrough came in 2014 when he portrayed Oberyn Martell in HBO’s Game of Thrones, a role that gained him international recognition.

Following Game of Thrones, Pascal starred as DEA agent Javier Peña in Netflix’s Narcos (2015–2017). He then achieved global fame as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian (2019–present), part of the Star Wars universe. In 2023, he took on the lead role of Joel in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, earning critical acclaim. His career reflects a balance of blockbuster franchises and character-driven dramas, making him a versatile and enduring figure in the entertainment industry.
